On this website, I share my personal impressions of various places, some of which are well-known and others less so. Everyone experiences situations and places differently. For my part, I love exploring new places through the lens of my camera. In those moments, everything around me fades away, and only what is in front of me gets my attention. The lens becomes a sharp and deep focus, and time slows down for a little while.

ABOUT ME

Anne Herrmann, Luxembourg, portrait, black and white portrait, black and white photography

Photography has accompanied me for over 30 years. It began at school with a photography project, and since then, it has been a part of my life, more or less. First in black and white, and later in color, from analog to digital. During my stay in California in 1997/98, my passion for photography grew even stronger. When I came back to Germany, I decided to start studying. From 1999 to 2005, I studied fine arts and photography at the Düsseldorf Art Academy. I have been living in Luxembourg since 2002.
